This notice covers the website. Personal data processed inside a client engagement is governed by the data processing agreement executed before that engagement starts — the posture behind it is published on our security page.
What we collect
If you use the contact form, we receive the details you type: your name, company, work email, and message. Like any web service, our hosting platform and our email delivery provider also process standard technical data — your IP address and browser information — to serve the site, deliver your message, and limit abuse; we use the IP address for rate limiting and nothing else. We run no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics scripts, and we set no cookies of our own. If you switch the colourway, that single choice is stored in your browser’s local storage under lunta-theme: it never leaves your device, it identifies nobody, and clearing site data removes it.
How we use it, and on what basis
Contact details are used solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you engage us, to run that engagement. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — answering an unsolicited business enquiry, and rate limiting to keep the form usable — moving to steps taken at your request before entering a contract once an engagement is in contemplation. We do not sell personal data, share it with advertisers, or add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.
Where it lives and how long
Enquiries are delivered to our business inbox via our email delivery provider and retained only as long as the correspondence is relevant. If a delivery fails, the failure is recorded in our operational logs so we can fix it. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time by writing to hello@lunta.example.
Where we are, and what that means for your data
Our people work from New York, NY · United States; Connecticut · United States; Cairo · Egypt. An enquiry you send us may therefore be read outside your own jurisdiction. For website enquiries the data involved is the little you chose to type into the form; for engagement data, transfer mechanisms and the exact processing locations are named in the data processing agreement before any transfer occurs.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection over your personal data — including under the GDPR, where you can object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests. Exercise any of them by emailing us; we respond within the statutory timelines. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country.
